S R Pharmacy (“we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or order from us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, delivery address, mobile number, the items you order, and any email address you give.
- What you tell the assistant — the symptoms or concern you describe, so our pharmacist can review your order in context.
- WhatsApp messages — the conversation you start with us about an order or a question.
- Basic website analytics — anonymous data about pages visited, to improve the site.
How we use it
- To review, confirm, bill, pack and deliver your order.
- To contact you about your order, mostly on WhatsApp.
- To keep a record of what we have supplied to you — this sits in the same customer record as your in-store purchases, matched by your mobile number, so our pharmacist can advise you safely over time.
- To meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed pharmacy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not share it with anyone except as needed to deliver your order (our rider) or where the law requires it.
- We do not take or store card or bank details on this website — payment is on delivery.
We use WhatsApp to talk to you about orders. Your messages are handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy terms. We only message you after you have messaged us first.
Prescriptions you upload
If you upload a prescription, the image or PDF is stored on our server in a private location that is not on the public website and cannot be reached by a web address. Only our registered pharmacist and authorised staff can open it, through a signed internal link. We use it solely to dispense your medicines and to keep the prescription record the law requires. We do not share it with anyone else. Prescription and dispensing records for Schedule H / H1 medicines are kept for two years as required under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules; after that, or on your request for anything we are not required to keep, the file is deleted.
How long we keep it
Order and dispensing records are kept for the period required of a pharmacy under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose above.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete data we are not required to keep — message us on WhatsApp or write to the address below.
