Gelsemium is a homoeopathic dilution prepared from the plant Yellow Jasmine which has a marked action on the nervous system in general. It helps in cases of weakness and debility along with a state of mental and physical depression.

Gelsemium Sempervirens — dull, drowsy, dizzy and trembling with heavy droopy eyelids; wants to be left alone; anticipatory dread with diarrhoea before the event; no thirst.
