Fever — Aconite vs. Belladonna vs. Gelsemium vs. Arsenicum: first-stage only, sudden onset after cold dry exposure, restless WITH fear/anxiety.

Common Cold / Catarrh — Aconite vs. Allium Cepa vs. Euphrasia vs. Arsenicum vs. Nux Vomica: only the very first hours, comes on suddenly after exposure to cold dry wind, dry blocked nose, restless and anxious, often a small fever.

Anxiety, Stress & Sleeplessness — Coffea vs. Aconite vs. Nux Vomica vs. Arsenicum vs. Ignatia vs. Gelsemium vs. Argentum Nitricum: sudden intense anxiety or panic, with a fear that something bad will happen; restless; comes on after a fright or a shock; often worse around midnight.

Shock & Faintness — Aconite vs. Arnica vs. Carbo Veg vs. Veratrum Album: shock from a fright or bad news.

Palpitations — Crataegus vs. Coffea vs. Spigelia vs. Cactus vs. Aconite: a sudden, violent palpitation with fear and anxiety, coming on after a shock, with a feeling that the heart will stop.

Potency: 30C every 1–2 hours at the very start of an acute complaint; stop once it settles.
