Constipation — Nux Vomica vs. Bryonia vs. Alumina vs. Silicea vs. Lycopodium: ineffectual urging with a feeling of a lump that cannot be passed, much wind and bloating, worse 4–8 pm.
Liver Upset — Chelidonium vs. Lycopodium vs. Nux Vomica vs. Carduus Marianus: the liver region sensitive and cannot bear tight clothing, much gas and bloating, worse 4–8 pm, craves sweets, wakes hungry then feels full after a few mouthfuls.
Hair Fall — Phosphoric Acid vs. Lycopodium vs. Fluoric Acid vs. Selenium vs. Thallium: premature balding and greying, hair falling after childbirth or an abdominal illness, often with much bloating and gas.
Gout / Uric-Acid Pain — Colchicum vs. Ledum vs. Benzoic Acid vs. Lycopodium vs. Urtica Urens: chronic gout, usually right-sided, with red sandy sediment in the urine and much digestive gas, worse 4–8 pm.
Kidney-Stone Colic — Berberis vs. Lycopodium vs. Sarsaparilla vs. Pareira Brava vs. Ocimum Canum: right-sided renal colic, red sand in the urine, pain worse before urinating and easing as the flow starts, with much lower-abdomen gas.
