Classical single remedy

the effects of suppressed anger and indignation, and of insult; trembling with wounded pride; also clean incised wounds and a 'honeymoon' cystitis; very sensitive to rudeness. (Boericke)

  • resentment and tension after being wronged, humiliated or bottling up anger.
  • burning urging to pass urine after intercourse or a stretching.
  • clean surgical cuts, and styes on the lids.

Toothache — Chamomilla vs. Coffea vs. Plantago vs. Staphysagria vs. Mercurius: teeth that decay as soon as they appear, turning black and crumbling, painful to the least touch and to cold drinks, worse after eating.

Cystitis / Burning Urine — Cantharis vs. Apis vs. Sarsaparilla vs. Staphysagria vs. Berberis: cystitis coming on after intercourse or after a catheter, with a constant feeling of a drop rolling along the urethra.

Potency: 30C as needed for the emotional picture; twice daily for a few days for the physical.
